Can we do the rectification (such as name, address) in PAN card without changing the PAN number?

If one person's detail (address and correction in name different in the PAN already he have, is it possible to rectify these and possible to the same number?|Is it possible to correct the details of one person (address, correction in name) that are not already in the PAN?}

You can change any information on your Pan Card, but the PAN number will not be changed. Your PAN Number will remain the same for all time and is assigned to you as an individual. Multiple PAN Numbers are illegal.

In the event of name changes after marriage, PAN Cards can be reissued and rectified.

You can fill out the Change Request Form to make a correction or change in your PAN Card address. This form is available on the official website of NSL PAN Service.

The requested documents you will need to provide include your ID Proof, Address proof and DOB Proof as well as your photo graphs. You will receive the exact list of acceptable documents in the form that you fill out.
