How Zerodha allows you to transfer funds trading account ?

Zerodha allows you to transfer funds in three ways. Be sure to note the following:

  • Transferring through UPI costs nothing
  • Additions of funds through net banking are Rs 9 per transaction
  • The withdrawal is free.
  • All withdrawals request made before 8:30 PM (for Equity) and 8:00AM (for Commodity) on working hours are processed that same day.
  • T+2 Days are needed to withdraw funds earned from the sale of shares.
  • Funds earned from the sale of F&O positions cannot be withdrawn until the next work day.
  • Pay-ins placed during the day cannot been withdrawn after the day has passed.
  1. Zerodha Kite

    Zerodha's trading platform of choice, Kite. Below are the steps for transferring funds using kite.

    1. Login Kite Web App or Kite Mobile App
    2. Click on the link Funds> in the upper right
    3. Click on the Add Funds’ or Withdraw buttons
    4. Follow the screen instructions.
  2. Console

    The Zerodha back office console ('Console') allows you to access your Zerodha trading funds and check your statements. You can manage your funds using the console by following the below steps.

    • Login using Kite IDs to console
    • Click on the link 'Funds’ in the upper right
    • Click 'Overview.
    • Enter the amount to be withdrawn.
  3. NEFT/RTGS From Bank Account

    You can transfer funds directly to your trading account using any bank account.

    To transfer funds from your bank linked account, you must first add Zerodha as a paymentee. Once Zerodha is finalised as a Payee, you need to make an online fund transfer and send them an email [to fundtransfer@zerodha.com] giving Zerodha the details of the transaction reference number.  Once the funds are available ,Zerodha updates your trading limits  and will send you an SMS confirming the same.
