Can we cancel delete an e-way bill ?

Once generated, the e-way bill cannot be cancelled. The generator can cancel it within 24 hours after generation. A particular EWB cannot be cancelled unless it has been checked by the appropriate officer. The e-way bills can also be cancelled if the goods are not transported according to the information in the bill.
