During special open time between 9:00 am to 9:45 am ,how to sell IPO shares on listing?

BSE and NSE permit IPO shares to be traded on the first day of trading (only for those listed). Pre-open trading sessions last 45 minutes (9:00AM-9:45AM) and are where orders can be entered, modified, or cancelled.

Selling IPO shares on the pre-open market at the time of listing

  1. Place the order online or call a broker to place it.
  2. Your shares will be sold at the listing price if the price of the listing is higher or equal to the pre-open price.
  3. Your order will be cancelled if the listing price is lower that your sell price in pre-open markets.
